More corporate stupidity... they may save some on the cost of the employees, but when people are poor from having no jobs and means of support they don't buy candy. HUMMMM and by the way is Anything made in America anymore? We need a government that says if they want to be American companies they need to make in America.

well this just upsits me alot. i love a peppermint pattie. even when i was counting every calorie that went into me. and counting how many situps per whatever i ate would burn it off. and making a 5 mile run everyday but sunday......this is just amazing and not in a good way. i really try to stay away from all food made in china and asian countrys and mexico and south america. i just have my own globe trotting reasons. sigh. if they had to jump ship and ruin americans lives then why not jump to germany or belgium. i would probley still eat that. or even canada. but, mexico. probley not. getting to more and more like america is the 3rd world country now days. thanks corporate sponsers.

I too like the York peppermint pattie. I don't get them that often. It was sad to see yet more american jobs lost. Not sure If this line of candy still continues after the move if I will be buying it. I agree with Sheila, what do these companies think we will use to by their products when all the american workers are working for minimum wage. Do they really think we will continue to buy their stuff at the current price?
